There’s a number of Fallout 76 weapons to find out in the wild, and some players have already found the Fallout 76 crossbow location. The beta of the upcoming game has just ended, with the game’s full launch not occurring until November 14, but you can still locate this weapon in the wastelands before then. Here’s where you can find it.
Fallout 76 Crossbow Location – Where Can I Find it?
The first thing you’ll want to do is load up your map, and look to the North. You’re on the lookout for a place called “The Palace of the Winding Path.” This is located in the giant building that sits to the right of the giant butterfly icon. It’s off route 97, so make a note of this area and head in that direction.
Once there, enter a courtyard area under a rusted bridge with a bus located underneath it. Hug the left-hand side of this area past a number of red pipes, down a small flight of stairs, and follow the path until you find the tree stump that’s shown in the below image.
Make your way up the embankment before this stump, and you’ll come across an archery target practice section. Turn around, and you’ll see a wooden table. The crossbow can be found on top of this alongside the pipe rifle.
Fallout 76 Crossbow Location – What Does it Do?
The crossbow you pick up should be ranked as a level 15 weapon. It can deal 61 damage, has a range of 186, an accuracy of 70%, but a fire rate of only four.
It’s a great stealth weapon to have if you come across any foes who are unaware of your presence, but remember that it’ll only fire crossbow bolts slowly and takes a while to reload. If you’re down to use it often, make sure you give yourself enough time to reload, line up your shot, and take out enemies – otherwise you may come up a cropper.
