We’re just a few days away from the Just Cause 4 release date on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Just Cause 4 PS4 Pro Enhancements – What Are The Benefits of Playing on PS4 Pro?
While you can play Just Cause 4 on both the standard PS4 and the PS4 Pro, there will be noticeable differences between the two. For those of us with a little extra cash to spend (or with no saving savvy) and the availability of both a PS4 Pro and 4K TV, we are left wondering if Just Cause 4 will receive all the enhancements the PS4 Pro can offer.
Just Cause 4 on PS4 Pro will output visuals up to 4K resolutions, according to an as-yet unreleased, fully official video that details the game’s graphics. Unfortunately, we cannot yet test to see if it is outputting at true 4K, what framerate it might be pushing, or whether or not it includes HDR support. We’ll let you know as soon as we can.
Just Cause 4 Xbox One X Enhancements – What Are The Benefits of Playing on Xbox One X?
While both the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X can output visuals up to 4K, the Xbox One X is the more powerful of the two consoles. Thankfully, Just Cause 4 will be in 4K on the Xbox One X as well as on the PS4 Pro.
Unfortunately, however, the same video as linked above only says that Just Cause 4 will be in 4K on Xbox One X. There is no further detail given. We’ll let you know the full list of Just Cause 4 Xbox One X enhancements as soon as we know them.
For now, at least, we have the promise that both the Just Cause 4 PS4 Pro and Xbox One X enhancements will be the ability to play the game in 4K. Whether that’s native or not, we will have to wait and see.
