Just Cause 4 Nintendo Switch Version

Is There a Just Cause 4 Nintendo Switch Version?

Just Cause 4’s full release is imminent, but there appears to be a lack of a Just Cause 4 Nintendo Switch version among the game’s editions. Given that Nintendo’s hybrid console has been performing really well in recent times, many players are hoping to see a version of the game for this console. So, is there one?

Is A Just Cause 4 Nintendo Switch Version On The Way?

Nope. Just Cause 4 is only slated to release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The game is due for a full launch on December 4, but a Just Cause 4 Nintendo Switch version is notably absent from the lineup.

This shouldn’t come as too big of a surprise, really. Big AAA releases don’t tend to make their way to the Switch on release day. Whether that’s down to the console’s inability to run Just Cause 4’s open world and myriad of explosions is unknown, but it isn’t a proper excuse when you see some of the games that the Switch can run. Either way, Just Cause 4 won’t be getting released on the Switch when it launches for other platforms.

Will There Ever Be A Just Cause 4 Nintendo Switch Version?

It’s possible that Just Cause 4 could eventually release for Nintendo’s hybrid handheld. The Nintendo Switch has received some ports of third-party AAA titles weeks and months after their initial release. Games such as Resident Evil 7 and Doom have been ported to the Switch, so there’s always the possibility that a Just Cause 4 Nintendo Switch version may see the light of day somewhere down the line.

For now though, if you want to play the latest installment in Rico’s story, you’ll have to buy a version on another platform. If Just Cause 4 does wing its way to the Nintendo Switch eventually, we’ll be sure to update this page to let you know.
