Is Ghost of Tsushima on PC?
As of writing, Ghost of Tsushima is only scheduled to release on PS4 sometime in the future. Neither Sony nor Sucker Punch has outlined a release date for the open-world Samurai epic. That’s right, Ghost of Tsushima is set to be a PlayStation exclusive as it is published by Sony themselves. This means that it is entirely up to Sony whether it allows the game to be played on platforms not owned and created by them.
While it might be disappointing to hear that Ghost of Tsushima isn’t currently planned to release on PC, there might just be a slither of hope for it. Read on to learn more.
Will a Ghost of Tsushima PC Port Ever Happen?
Despite Ghost of Tsushima currently being just a PlayStation exclusive, perhaps there is a chance that it will someday be ported to PC. Stranger things have happened. As Sony is the publisher of the game, it is up to Sony whether or not the game is ported to different machines further down the line. This means that we could eventually see Ghost of Tsushima released on PC, even if it means we must wait for a year or two after the game’s initial release for a port.
Although Sony could decide to port Ghost of Tsushima to PC at some point, it is incredibly unlikely. While we can adopt a never say never line, we’d be surprised if a Ghost of Tsushima PC port ever happened. File it under monumentally unlikely.
