Pokemon Go Update 0.131.3 – What’s New?

The latest Pokemon Go update to hit Niantic’s popular mobile game features lots of bug fixes and seeks to smooth out the experience of Pokemon Go Trainer Battles. However, it seems that there are still lots of Pokemon Go battling bugs, which range from both players simultaneously losing mid-battle to players losing their second Charged Attack for no apparent reason. Here’s everything you need to know about Pokemon Go update 0.131.3.

Pokemon Go Update 0.131.3 – What’s New?

The most recent Pokemon Go update (0.131.3) was launched yesterday. Niantic took to Twitter to inform players of the new update, stating that it was intended to clear up some of the issues player had been facing such as being unable to deal damage in battles and being incapable of using their second Charged Attack:

Niantic went on to announce that it appreciates the support of players who are patiently waiting for other fixes—some to bugs that only seem to have appeared since this update. One Reddit post reports that a simultaneous fainting in the middle of their battle resulted in a double loss despite the fact that they had one Pokemon left. Another post reports that the game in general has been incredibly laggy since the update launched, while yet another Redditor announced that every time they tried to switch Pokemon, they were hit with a bug that caused the switching window to stay open on their screen.

So, the most recent Pokemon Go update fixed a lot of issues that players had been experiencing, but it seems to have unfortunately imposed even more problems on the game. It’s important for players to show Niantic the same courtesy that Niantic continue to show them with their regular updates and attention to bug fixes. Here’s hoping that the most prominent bugs that have appeared since update 0.131.3 are fixed soon.
