Call of Duty Black Ops 4, like any other video game, has a few Easter eggs scattered throughout its game modes. Recently, a Black Ops 4 Castaway Easter egg was discovered by players during a multiplayer match. What is the Black Ops 4 Castaway Easter egg then, and where do you find Wilson?
What is the Black Ops 4 Castaway Easter Egg?
Castaway is a survival movie, released in 2000, that stars Tom Hanks as Chuck Noland. After his plan crash lands on a deserted island, Chuck must find a way to survive after his attempts to leave the island fail. In an effort to stave off complete isolation, he paints a face on a volleyball – found in one of the packages on the plane – and names it Wilson (also the name of the volleyball manufacturer) so he has someone to talk to.
With one of Black Ops 4‘s many multiplayer maps being set on an island, developer Treyarch couldn’t resist putting a Castaway Easter egg in to their game. So where do you find Wilson exactly?
Where to Find the Black Ops 4 Castaway Easter Egg
To find the Black Ops 4 Castaway Easter egg, you will need to load up the map called Contraband in multiplayer mode. This is one of the 11 brand new maps, and is set upon an island that is situated off the coast of Colombia. Bear in mind you can also look around the map in Theater mode, so you don’t have to be actively taking part in an actualy match to find this.
Once the map is loaded, you will need to locate a shack that isn’t too far from where your team spawns in. Head inside and locate a stack of potato sacks that seem to be getting used as pillows for the bed. If you’re struggling to find it, it’s right in the back corner of the furthest wall. Once you’ve found the right spot, shunt your way past the potato sacks and you’ll find Wilson, as shown on this Reddit thread.
