Goblin Slayer may have been one of the Fall 2018 anime highlights, but we want more, damnit! There’s very little info on the ground, however, when it comes to Goblin Slayer season 2 as well as a Goblin Slayer season 2 release date, but we’ve taken on a contract of our own: we’re finding out when you can watch new episodes of Goblin Slayer. When is the Goblin Slayer Season 2 Air Date?
The only official confirmation we have of Goblin Slayer season 2 is a tag buttoned on to the end of Goblin Slayer season 1’s finale. The final seconds of episode 12 saw the words “Goblin Slayer will return” shown on-screen. Other than that, no release date, release window, or any attributed quotes have surfaced regarding when we’ll be able to watch Goblin Slayer season 2.

We can, however, make some pretty logical guesses as to when the series will return. The opening dozen episodes only covered a small amount of Kumo Kagyu’s light novel, which means an entire season, rather than an OVA or movie, is looking increasingly likely. Despite that, don’t expect a Goblin Slayer season 2 release date until well into 2020, and possibly beyond.
White Fox, the studio that created the Goblin Slayer anime has worked on just two separate shows every year since 2015 and, wouldn’t you just know it, 2019 is fully booked up with Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest and The Hero is Overpowered but Overly Cautious set for 2019 air dates. That, along with the fact that season 2 hasn’t yet been greenlit, would indicate that, yes, the Goblin Slayer will indeed return for season 2, but a Fall 2020 release would be the best, most obvious place for it to return. Don’t discount an October-December 2020 run of episodes. Goblins, beware.
