What is the Black Ops 4 115 day double XP event?
Like other events of a similar ilk, Treyarch has revealed via Twitter that it plans to celebrate the arrival of some new game modes in the Black Ops 4 1.11 update. Rather than spread the celebratory event over the weekend, however, Treyarch has decided to brings its double XP extravaganza forward so it takes place earlier in the week.
The Black Ops 4 115 day double XP event will run from Tuesday, January 15 until Friday, January 18. It’ll begin at 10 AM PST on Tuesday (6pm GMT and 1pm EST) and finish at a similar time three days later.
Which modes are taking part in the Black Ops 4 115 day double XP event?
Black Ops 4 players will be able to earn twice as many experience points in Zombies mode. That means that if you take part in any Zombies match, you will earn double XP for your troubles. Players will also rewarded with double the amount of XP for the weapons that they use in-game. If there’s a gun you’ve been meaning to upgrade and advance to higher levels, now is the perfect time to do just that.
That’s not all that you can earn double XP on though. Players can also earn 2 XP with nebulium plasma. Nebulium plasma is a key ingredient for elixirs. Elixirs are single-use buff items that can be used by players to increase a stat of theirs, and make zombies easier to kill.
The longer you survive in zombies mode, the more nebulium plasma you’ll be rewarded with at the end of the match. The more nebulium plasma you earn, the more XP you’ll get too, so it’s worth staying alive for as long as you can.
