Fortnite season 7 week 9 challenges – Use a Sneaky Snowman in different matches
To complete the Sneaky Snowman Fortnite Season 7 Week 9 challenge, players are required to find and use this new consumable item in three different matches.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Sneaky Snowman which was added with the 7.20 Content Update, it’s a Common consumable item that turns the user into a snowman! This essentially gives the player a disguise with which to blend into the winter environment. You can also use the Sneaky Snowman as a distraction, as a kind of decoy.
Fortnite season 7 week 9 challenges – Land at Retail Row all locations
Like the above challenge, you won’t have any issues with this one. Like every other week, you only need to land in five different areas of the map and you’ll be grand. We’ve listed the five places below, so you know where to head to at the beginning of each match.
- Location 1 – Retail Row
- Location 2 – Frosty Flights
- Location 3 – Haunted Hills
- Location 4 – Shifty Shafts
- Location 5 – Dusty Divot
You can only land at one location per match, so it’ll take five separate matches to complete this challenge.
Fortnite season 7 week 9 challenges – Eliminate opponents at Junk Junction or Retail Row
This won’t be too taxing for you. Simply head to either location on the map, wait for an opponent to show up, and take them out. It’s that easy, as long as you don’t suck at Fortnite. You’ll be needing to take out three opponents while in the vicinity of either of these locations.
Fortnite season 7 week 9 challenges – Pop 10 golden balloons
Head down to the Fortnite island and you’re likely to spot a golden balloon. You’ll be needing to pop 10 of these in order to complete this Fortnite Season 7 Week 9 challenge.
It’s going to be difficult to pop all of these balloons in one match. We’d recommend aiming for one balloon while falling from the bus, before then making your way to those that are nearby. You’ll need to finish the round to ensure that the balloon is counted!
Fortnite season 7 week 9 challenges – Dance on a sundial and other locations
Another very easy challenge. Once a match begins, simply leave the bus, plummet until you are near one of the locations, get your glider out so you gracefully land in the right place, and bust a move once you are on the ground.
These are the three different stages:
- Stage 1 – Dance on top of a sundial (South East of Fatal Fields)
- Stage 2 – Dance on an oversized cup of coffee (Dusty Divot)
- Stage 3 – Dance on a giant metal dog head (Junk Junction)
Fortnite season 7 week 9 challenges – Eliminate opponents with a shotgun
This is a simple one. Find a shotgun on the map, and take out your enemies with it. The best way to do this is to take most of their health away from them, before equipping the shotgun and finishing them off with a shell to the head.
You’ll need to pull off a total of five shotgun eliminations. If you’re handy with this close-range weapon, you might be able to complete this challenge in a single life! Good luck!
Fortnite season 7 week 9 challenges – Complete timed trials in an X-4 Stormwing plane
Timed trials were introduced in season 5, and require players to collect blue stopwatches that are scattered around the map. You begin them once you collect your first stopwatch, and you’ll need to get them all in the allotted time to complete a timed trial.
This week’s timed trials, however, require you to use the Stormwing plane. This makes things a bit more difficult as the stopwatches will be at various heights to throw you off. Your piloting skills will have to top notch to maneuver the Stormwing quickly and efficiently. You have a week to prepare for this challenge though, so you can practice now in time for it.
The timed trials for this week are shown on the map above. If you can’t tell exactly, here are the locations:
- Location 1 – West of Lazy Links
- Location 2 – Right in the middle of Lonely Lodge
- Location 3 – West of Happy Hamlet on the coast
