From Software’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a little over a month away. The game is releasing on PS4, Xbox One, and PC and now we have the Sekiro PC system requirements. Both the Sekiro minimum and Sekiro recommended specs have been detailed.
Sekiro PC system requirements | Minimum specs
Coming to us courtesy of the Sekiro Steam page, here are the minimum specs for running Sekiro on PC.
- OS: Windows 7 64-bit | Windows 8 64-bit | Windows 10 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 | AMD FX-6300
- Memory: 4GB RAM
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 | AMD Radeon HD 7950
- Storage: 25GB available space
- DirectX: Version 11
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice minimum specs are pretty forgiving, stretching back to Intel’s entry-level i3 processor from 2011. The game will run admirably on graphics cards from 2013, although the exact performance numbers are unknown.
Sekiro PC system requirements | Recommended specs
Again coming from the game’s Steam page, the recommended specs fall right in line with previous From Software games.
- OS: Windows 7 64-bit | Windows 8 64-bit | Windows 10 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i5-2500k | AMD Ryzen 5 1400
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 | AMD Radeon RX 570
- Storage: 25GB available space
- DirectX: Version 11
Everything appears to simply bump up to the next logical step when moving from minimum to recommended specs. We jump from a Core i3 to a Core i5 or an AMD Ryzen 5, RAM requirements increase, and graphics processors get noticeably more powerful.
Sekiro PC requirements fall almost exactly in line with From Software’s Dark Souls 3 from 2016. Minimum specs for both suggest the same processor and RAM requirements, with only the slightest bump in graphics processing. Surprisingly the Sekiro PC recommended specs suggest a lower range of CPUs compared to Dark Souls 3. That game recommends an Intel Core i7-3770 while Sekiro suggests a Core i5-2500k. The lower CPU specifications might be due to optimization, or the game’s departure from an online component.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice just got a new CGI story trailer, hinting at the history of the game’s protagonist. Sekiro releases on March 22 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
