Anthem Max Javelin Level Cap

Anthem Max Javelin Level Cap | How to get above 400 and 500

BioWare’s recommended Javelin level for Grandmaster difficulties is 400-500+, which can seem like a high number to hit. The Anthem max Javelin level cap goes beyond even 400, rocketing towards 500. To be able to hit these high numbers, however, you’ll have to unlock rarer loot by targeting the right missions and getting a bit lucky. Here’s how to get above Javelin level 400 and 500 in Anthem, to become Epic, Masterwork, and Legendary.

What is the max Javelin level cap?

At the time of writing, the Anthem max Javelin level cap is 396 with all Epic equipment, 495 with all Masterwork equipment, and (in theory) 517 with all Legendary equipment. The latter figure is not yet confirmed, but is based on the Legendary power cap of 47, multiplied by the 11 available slots. That will take some grinding to hit!

If BioWare takes inspiration from other loot shooters, we’ll likely see this level cap increase over time, as more content is released for the game.

At Pilot level 30, reaching the “normal” level cap of 396 in Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties should be simple enough. Just keep replaying missions and earning power level 36 loot. Beyond that, you’ll be on the hunt for Masterwork and Legendary loot. These are capped at 45 and 47, respectively.

Combining one Masterwork piece with 10 Epics will result in a level of  405. To go beyond that, you’ll need to keep grinding difficult Strongholds and crossing your fingers for good loot.

As your Javelin level increases, you’ll find the Grandmaster difficulty becomes easier to complete. When this happens, we’d recommend teaming up with high-level players to take on Grandmaster 2 and Grandmaster 3, which will increase your chances of getting Masterwork and Legendaries.

Grandmaster 1 recommends a Javelin Power of 400+, Grandmaster 2 suggests you hit 475+, and Grandmaster 3 states that it would be wise to hit 500+ before attempting that hardcore battle.
