The popular shooter Warframe has reached its 6-year anniversary, and they are celebrating with free in game items for players. With over 50 million players, Warframe is showing no signs of slowing down. They had just 32 million players in 2018, and after their release on the Nintendo Switch, the Warframe player base grew by 18 million in just a single year. In light of the game’s recent success and growth, Digital Extreme is celebrating by giving players a bunch of free in-game items.
Warframe 6 Year Anniversary | Free in-game items
The in-game items offered as part of the Warframe 6 Year Anniversary include the “brand new exclusive Liset (landing craft) Skin, last year’s amazing Dex Excalibur skin, and all its previous anniversary gifts,” all for free. These items are available in-game and come with no strings attached. Digital Extreme simply wants to celebrate the studio’s success, which ultimately comes from players, by giving back to those who play the game.
When will these free items be available in Warframe?
All of the items Digital Extreme is giving away to players will be available in-game on Wednesday, March 27. You don’t need to do anything to get them—they will simply be there waiting for you when you hop on to play. The in-game items are available across all platforms and are offered completely free of charge.
Warframe found lots of success in 2018 due to the game’s release on the Nintendo Switch. In 2019, Digital Extreme is committed to keeping the vibrant community growing. The team has already released two updates, and there are plenty more planned for the future. Additionally, the developers are knee deep in “gameplay and graphical overhauls” that will update the Plains of Eidolon and Gas City areas.
