Battlefield 5 Empty Armory Bug | Where’s my stuff gone?
Right, so the Battlefield 5 empty armory bug is pretty self-explanatory. You load up the game, head to your Armory tab, and there’s nothing there. You can search high and low, try resetting the game, and other things. Nothing will work to bring your stuff back, or allow you to buy new in-game items.
The issue is so widespread that it’s caused a number of threads to pop up on the game’s Reddit page. The first reports of the issue were posted in this thread by user DANNYonPC. He showed an image of his empty armory, and it wasn’t long before other chipped in.
Another Reddit thread suggested that the empty armories meant that new cosmetics were about to be patched into the game, but that’s quickly been shot down.
Battlefield 5 Empty Armory Bug | Is there a fix?
Not yet, but we’re hopeful that a Battlefield 5 empty armory bug fix will be with us very shortly. Jan David Hassel, who works as a technical designer on the game, tweeted that the team was aware of the issue late on Monday night, which is comforting.
He asked players who had come across the issue to reply to his Twitter thread with their usernames to help the team to locate a possible common denominator. Since then, the team has been looking into the problem, and will likely have a small patch with a fix coming in the very near future.
There is new content coming to Battlefield 5 as part of this week’s update, so there’s a chance that a fix could come alongside this.
