As you explore the world in Days Gone, you’re going to come across several types of weapons and items. While you can pick these items up and make use of them, even using your enemies’ weapons against them, you won’t be able to store them. If you want to store weapons, you’re going to need to store them at the Weapons Locker. You won’t be able to store just any weapons at the Weapons Locker, though. In fact, you’ll need to learn how to get more Weapons Locker guns in Days Gone if you really want to increase the effectiveness of your arsenal.
Get More Weapons Locker Guns in Days Gone
The trick to getting more Weapons Locker guns in Days Gone is to purchase them from the various merchants and clerks that you’ll come across as you explore the world. As you play, you’ll earn money, which you can then use when you visit the different camps located all around the map. What can be confusing for some here, though, is that the very first camp you visit in Days Gone doesn’t appear to have a weapons vendor of any kind.
Instead, you’ll need to wait until you reach the next camp, which is located in the Belknap region. It’s here that you’ll be able to purchase your first weapons from the weapons vendor. When purchased, any weapons that are stored in your Weapons Locker will return there when dropped, making it easy to pick up and drop any weapons you know you’ve purchased already.
Of course, you’re still going to have a lot of work cut out for you if you want to unlock more Weapons Locker guns, as you won’t have many available at the start of the game. To unlock additional weapons for purchase, you’re going to want to increase your Trust level.
You can increase your Trust levels with the various camps a number of ways. The easiest way is to simply play the game and complete the different missions and Encampment Jobs that are made available to you. This will automatically earn you more trust, as well as additional money and other goodies. You can also take down Hordes that have set up shop in the nearby areas. Players will also be able to clear out a series of other areas including Nero Checkpoints, Ambush Camps, and Infestation locations.
Clearing out zombie hordes isn’t your only option here, though. There are also plenty of survivors that you can save, as well as a plethora of bounties that you can undertake. The world of Days Gone is chock full of different activities and stuff for you to complete and finishing most of them will always reward you with an increase of Trust.
At the end of the day, the trick to getting more Weapons Locker guns is to keep playing the game. Simply complete missions to raise your Trust and then purchase those weapons from the various weapons vendors you meet along the way. Easy as pie.
