Announced today by Microsoft and Mojang, Minecraft Earth is an upcoming Minecraft AR mobile game. In the game, you are able to create your very own blocky structures and place them into the real world, collect items and materials, and even fight against hostile mobs. What is, though, the Minecraft Earth release date? Read on to learn when you will be able to play Minecraft Earth and whether or not there is a Minecraft Earth beta.
Minecraft Earth Release Date | When can we play Minecraft Earth AR mobile game?
Unfortunately, the Minecraft Earth release date is a little up in the air as of writing. All we know right now is that its closed beta will be available this summer. This will be available for some of those who sign up to take part by going through the sign up process here.
Minecraft Earth iPhone Release Date
As stated above, Minecraft Earth will be released on iPhone (iOS 10 or higher) as a closed beta for a lucky few this summer. All you can do is sign up for a chance to take part in the closed beta.
Minecraft Earth Android Release Date
As on iOS, Minecraft Earth will release on Android devices (Android 7 and up) this summer. Again, sign up via the link above for a chance to take part in the closed beta. We’d love to tell you more, but a vague summer 2019 closed beta release date is all we have.
Minecraft Earth Release Date | When does Minecraft Earth leave beta?
While we know that Minecraft Earth will enter into closed beta at some stage in the summer of 2019, it is completely unknown when the game will leave its beta period on both iPhone and Android. We’d hope, however, that a release date for the full version will fall before the of 2019.
Of course, we will update this guide when we know for sure when Minecraft Earth leaves its closed beta and turns into a full release. Expect the Minecraft Earth release date to be by the end of 2019, or by the end of March 2020, however.
