The Rage 2 Ark locations aren’t something you just know by playing the game. You have to find them. This means you might not be able to automatically discover exactly where the barrier, defibrillator, or rush abilities are as well as the rocket launcher, shotgun, and more. Here are all the Ark locations in the game you’ll need to get the Rage 2 Barrier location as well as the Rush, Slam, Defibrillation, and Vortex abilities. Weapons are also in Arks meaning you’ll need this to find the Rage 2 rocket launcher location in addition to weapons like the Combat Shotgun, Grav-Dart Launcher, Firestorm Revolver, Charged Pulse Cannon, and Hyper-Cannon.
Almost all of these Arks are completely optional and follow a similar pattern so be sure to go to the area and eliminate all of the enemies first. You’ll only be granted access once you have killed every foe. Once you go in and grab the goods, you’ll usually be ambushed again, giving you an opportunity to use your newly discovered toy. While you don’t need every single one, you will need at least five for the “A Noah Lot” trophy or achievement. Also the BFG is its own thing, which you can find here, and the Dash, Slam, and Grav-Jump Arks are all mandatory Arks you find in the beginning.
Rage 2 Barrier location
The Rage 2 Barrier location is in the Spikewind Ark in the Broken Tract area as show in the above picture.
Rage 2 Slam location
The Rage 2 Slam location is Earthscar Ark found in the Torn Plains area as show in the above picture. This is needed for the “Come On and Slam!” trophy or achievement, which is granted for using Slam to kill 50 enemies.
Rage 2 Rush location
The Rage 2 Rush location is in the Dealypipe Ark in the Sekreto Wastelands as show in the above picture.
Rage 2 Defibrillation location
The Rage 2 Defibrillation location is in the Canyon Cover Ark in the Broken Tract part of the map as show in the above picture. This is needed for the “Pseudo Post-Mortem” trophy or achievement, which is granted for killing three enemies in 10 seconds after getting full health back from defibrillation.
Rage 2 Vortex location
The Rage 2 Vortex location is in the Quake Hill Ark in the Twisting Canyons as show in the above picture.
Rage 2 Rocket Launcher location
The Rage 2 Rocket Launcher location is in the Strongbox Ark in the Torn Plains part of the map, as show in the above picture. This is required for the “Postmodern Picasso” trophy or achievement, which pops after killing 200 enemies with it.
Rage 2 Shotgun location
The Rage 2 Shotgun location isn’t something you’ll have to look around since you get it as part of the main campaign. Just do the Blackout mission for John Marshall in Gunbarrel and you’ll get this handy boomstick as you make your way through the mission. It’s an early mission for him, so you can get this out of the way quickly if you do his quests first. The shotgun is necessary for the “Skeet Shooting” trophy or achievement that unlocks after using the shotgun’s aim down sights firing mode on a mid-air enemy.
Rage 2 Grav-Dart Launcher location
The Rage 2 Grab-Dart Launcher location is in the Needle Falls Ark in The Wilds part of the game as show in the above picture.
Rage 2 Firestorm Revolver location
The Rage 2 Firestorm Revolver location is in the Dank Catacomb Ark, which is nestled in the Sekreto Wetlands as show in the above picture.
Rage 2 Charged Pulse Cannon location
The Rage 2 Charged Pulse Cannon location is Shrouded Vault Ark in the Dune Sea area of the game as show in the above picture. This Ark isn’t as straightforward as the other two since you’ll need to go the the Shrouded Sub Station Alpha and Shrouded Sub Station Beta first to be able to walk into the Ark. These are also in the picture as signified by the red circles. Just go there first and destroy all the reactor units.
Rage 2 Hyper-Cannon location
The Rage 2 Hyper-Cannon location is in the Greenhaven Ark in The Wilds area of map, which you can see the picture. The Hyper-Cannon is necessary for the “Hyper Express” trophy or achievement that unlocks once you have when you kill two enemies with one shot.
