If the name Trog sounds familiar, that is because he is the friendly ice monster seen in Fortnite loading screens. To find Fortbyte 49, players will get to visit his cozy little ice cave and say hi! So, where is Trog’s ice cave location?

To find Fortbyte 49, players will need to find Trog’s ice cave location. Trog is the resident Fortnite monster, but he isn’t as scary as he looks. Finding his location on your own could prove to be a little difficult however since the clue doesn’t reveal very much information about the ice cave location. However, since it is an ice cave, players can easily narrow down the location to the icy region of the map.
To find Trog’s ice cave location, you’re going to want to head to the area between Frosty Flights and Happy Hamlet. It can be a bit difficult to find since it isn’t really located at a named location. To help you out, the exact location of Trog’s ice cave can be seen on the map below—look for the blue marker in the lower left.
As you get close, you should see a bunch of pine trees covered in snow. Don’t be fooled, this is where you want to go. In the middle of the trees, there is a big opening which leads down to Trog’s ice cave.
Drop down inside the cave and you’ll see Trog’s nice little house. Walk inside and you should see Fortbyte 49 sitting there by a couple of teddy bears. See? I told you he was a friendly ice monster!
