A brand-new Dying Light update is available to download and install on PC right now. Skip to the end of this guide to have a read through the complete list of the Dying Light 1.18 update patch notes. You can also read through the update highlights below if you’d rather spend a little longer with us (who can blame you?). As far as we can tell, this Dying Light version 1.18 update is only live on PC right now, but this doesn’t mean that it won’t shuffle its way onto consoles as well. Regardless, it’s a small update that focuses on new language options.
Dying Light 1.18 Update
As stated above, the Dying Light 1.18 update is a small one, largely adding in new language options that haven’t been implemented in the four-and-a-half years since it originally released.
New Language Options
After over four years since it originally released, Dying Light players in China, Thailand, and Turkey will be happy to learn that new language subtitle options have been added to the game. These three new language subtitle options can be found in the subtitle settings:
- Thai
- Traditional Chinese
- Turkish
New language and subtitle options are always appreciated. What’s more, anyone playing the game in Thailand will receive a free in-game gift. This will be the Thai National Outfit. You’ll have access to the costume as soon as you download and install the 1.18 update.
Mod Fix
Last but not least, the Dying Light developers have fixed a mod bug that was crashing the game for many players. When using random spawners in mods will no longer crash the game’s modded content. This fix should prove particularly popular with any Dying Light players who like to play the game with mods turned on.
