Sea of Thieves and Twitch Rivals have partnered up to put together the ultimate battle of pirate legends. The event will feature some well-known streamers and Sea of Thieves Arena players, who are all competing for $100,000 in prizes. The Twitch Rivals Sea of Thieves Showdown will take place over two days and will be livestreamed on Twitch. For those who are able to tune in for some of the event, they will be rewarded with a little bit of pirate loot of their own. Twitch Rivals Sea of Thieves Showdown | When is it, how to stream, and how to earn rewards
If you’re unfamiliar with Twitch Rivals, it is a special branch of Twitch that focuses on streaming competitions. Essentially, Twitch Rivals offers tons of different competitions for streamers to compete in and earn cash and prizes. One of the most anticipated events this month is the Twitch Rivals Sea of Thieves Showdown, which will be taking place on July 23 and 24. It will begin at 10 AM PT on July 23 and run until 7:45 PM PT that evening. It will then pick up again on July 24 from 9 AM through 6:45 PM PT.

The Sea of Thieves Showdown will be livestreamed on two different channels. Viewers can watch on the official Twitch Rivals channel or the official Sea of Thieves channel. Additionally, if you link your Twitch account with you Sea of Thieves account, you’ll be eligible for a couple of in game rewards. There are two different rewards that are being given to viewers of the Twitch Rivals Sea of Thieves Showdown, both will require viewers to watch at least one Arena contest each day. Those who watch on July 23 will receive an Obsidian Figurehead and Hull for their ship and these who watch on July 24 will receive an Obsidian Sail and Flag. As long as you have your accounts linked, you will receive these items in game after the event.
