If you’re looking to max out a character’s level in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, we’ve got a handful of tips for you that should make the experience much faster. The first of these tips is that you should always be on the lookout for XP Cubes.

You’ll find XP Cubes hidden throughout most stages of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. They should be easy enough to spot, too. XP Cubes are found within crate-like objects that glow and sparkle with a kind of energy. Simply destroy these sparkling, glowing crates to find XP Cubes within. You should find XP Cubes often enough and there are six types, each one with more XP for you to make use of than the last:

  • Small XP Cube
  • Solid XP Cube
  • Enhanced XP Cube
  • Cosmic XP Cube
  • Ultimate XP Cube

You can use any and all XP Cubes at any time you like. Simply head into the Team option of the main menu and choose one of your heroes. Press the Y button when you are on your chosen hero’s menu and you can choose to use as many of your collected XP Cubes as you’d like.

The other main way in which you can level up quickly in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is by making use of Infinity Trials. Playing through these bonus levels with a well-balanced team should ensure that you do well in them and earn big XP boosts as your reward. You should be given XP Cubes as a reward in a decent number of these Infinity Trials, too, which is a bonus. Even better, you can tackle any Infinity Trial as often as you’d like, with the rewards remaining the same on any and all repeated playthroughs. It’s the perfect XP farming and grinding tool in this game.
