Like all of the new entries, there is a Wolfenstein Youngblood Wolfenstein 3D arcade cabinet. However, it can be a little hard to find if you don’t know where to look. Those catacombs and Parisian streets are maze-like, after all. So can you play Wolfenstein 3D in Wolfenstein Youngblood and if you can, where is it? The answer isn’t quite that straightforward.
Can you play Wolfenstein 3D in Wolfenstein Youngblood?
Technically, no. Wolfenstein 3D is not in Wolfenstein Youngblood. But you can play Elite Hans: Die Neue Ordnung, the bizarro take on Wolfenstein 3D where you play as a Nazi against Allied forces and fight against the protagonists in this reimagined series. It isn’t called Wolfstone 3D like it was in Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus either. Also “Die Neue Ordnung” translates to “The New Order,” which is what MachineGames’ first Wolfenstein was called back in 2014. There’s even a joke in the game that says the resistance should make that game from the Allies’ side and call it Wolfenstein 3D. How silly.
Where is Wolfenstein 3D in Wolfenstein Youngblood?
Now that that technicality is out of the way, you have to go into your base in the catacombs to play Elite Hans. You will get to this place once you beat the first two or so missions. Once you’re in, make your way around, you may find a map or a bar in your HQ. You’ll find the arcade cabinet in that bar, which is signified by the red circle on the above map or the brownish red beer bottle and cup symbol in the in-game world. The compass on the mini-map should be at zero degrees since it is the the northern most part of the base.
You’ll see the cabinet by the lounging French man to the left of Jemma Atwood’s bar. Now you can live the dream and play some Wolfenstein in Wolfenstein.
