When you see the warning sign flash up, be ready to dodge the explosive barrels that will appear. That's Noah and he's not a good guy here.
Go over one of mini power-ups that will occasionally litter the river surface and you'll activate it and give you special powers for a limited amount of time.
If you can get your coin-collecting combo up to level 10, you'll activate the magnetic coin effect. This will draw all nearby coins towards you automatically. This re-activates every 10 combo levels.
Keep your coin-collecting combo going in each run, as you'll be rewarded with extra coins for a long chain.

Gold sharks will move faster than grey sharks, and red sharks move faster still. Try to anticipate where these speedy baddies will be well in advance.
Try to collect complete lines of coins when possible. After collecting ten full lines, you'll activate the Coin Magnet power-up, which looks cute and works great.
Consumable power-ups are, for the most part, skippable, as they cost a mint and offer little in return. Save your coins for cute boat upgrades instead.
