On Evergreen Ride, stay as far to the left of the screen as you can as this will give you more time to react to hazards.
Watch out for sudden bursts of speed as you collect gizmos. Put a hill in front of the car to slow it down.
Keep an eye on the gauge to the top-left, especially when a photo appears. If you fill it before you've collected the snap, it'll be gone by the time you return from the black and white flashback.
Some platforms disappear as you drive across them. Keep jumping instead and they should remain intact.
