There are plenty of other things to do in the game, including the Astral Chain Legion Maintenance minigame. The trouble is, the game doesn’t explain what Legion Maintenance does in Astral Chain. What is Legion Maintenance?

As stated above, Legion Maintenance is a minigame that you can play in Astral Chain. You’ll be able to take part in the minigame in-between missions, right at the beginning of each new File.

Essentially, the Legion Maintenance minigame lets you “pet” your collection of Legions. It’s similar to the Pokemon-Amie minigame in the 3DS Pokemon games. You’ll be able to clear corruption from your Legion in the Maintenance minigame. The trouble is, the game doesn’t explain what it actually does otherwise.
What Does Legion Maintenance Do?
Unfortunately, we’re not entirely sure what the point of Legion Maintenance is. It appears as though it might just be a little bonus way in which you can interact with your collection of Legions in between missions. However, there are reports from Reddit that claim that Legion Maintenance does indeed do something.
Redditor origamiscienceguy, for example, claims that taking part in the Astral Chain Legion Maintenance will unlock an achievement that unlocks a new Legion color. Redditor queendeis, however, argues that if you don’t perform Legion Maintenance, their attacks become slower. Cleaning your Legions with Maintenance may well increase your Legions’ attack speeds.
Even if Legion Maintenance doesn’t do anything, though, it is a fun little way in which you can spend some more time with your Legions in Astral Chain.
