If you know how many Vault locations there are, then you can take a pretty good guess at how far along you are in the game. Beneath the Meridian: Vault of the Rampager
The first Vault that players will reach is known as Beneath the Meridian: Vault of the Rampager. It will appear as the tenth main story mission in Borderlands 3 and is located on the planet Sanctuary. It has a recommended level of 21 and players will be joined by Maya, a veteran Vault Hunter. Completing the Vault will earn players a variety of rewards like a fourth weapon slot, money, the Book of the Storm weapon trinket, and a new SMG.
Cold as the Grave: Vault of the Graveward
The second Vault that players will reach is known as Cold as the Grave: Vault of the Graveward. It will appear as the sixteenth main story mission in Borderlands 3 and is located on the planet Eden-6. It has a recommended level of 30 and players will be tasked with finding the final Vault Key fragment. Completing the Vault will earn players a variety of rewards like a shield, a handful of rocket launchers, and money.
