Apple Arcade Games List | Most promising titles

Assemble with Care

As a repairwoman, players will follow her journey through 13 exciting chapters. During the different chapters, players will be fixing a variety of old electronics and each ties into the overall story in some way or another. Developed by usTwo, the studio behind Monument Valley, this is one Apple Arcade game that you’re probably going to want to keep your eyes on.

Exit the Gungeon

In this dungeon climber game, which serves as a spin-off of Enter the Gungeonplayers must find their way out of, well, the Gungeon. With an ever-changing weapon by their side and an a dodge roll mechanic, players must escort each hero from the Gungeon before it collapses on itself. You’ll have to fight off enemies and collect loot along the way, with each hero offering a different escape route full of new challenges.

Grindstone

In this cartoonesque Apple Arcade game, players will be treated to a combination of puzzle and fantasy adventure. Developed by Capy Games, the studio behind Below, Grindstone will allow players to take the role of an adventurer whose main goal is to connect lines of colored monsters in order to get rid of them. While it sounds a little bit weird at first, it seems promising.

Lego Brawls

Lego is no stranger to the video games industry, with tons of games being released over the years. However, one area that Lego hasn’t dipped its toe very deep in is the mobile gaming market, but that’s all about to change. Lego Brawls is a 2D platformer that seems worth a look.

Mini Motorways

In Mini Motorwaysplayers will draw their own roads, building a massive connection of roadways. It’s your job to keep traffic flowing smoothly in a busy city, so you’ll likely find yourself upgrading roads, making changes, and dealing with angry drivers. Players will have to build one road at a time as they work to create a thriving metropolis. It may not end up being the best game on this list, but it is probably the most unique.

Overland

As with most turn-based strategy games, the main goal in Overland is to survive. As the game begins, players will find themselves abandoned, with no place to go. From there, it’s up to you to make use of what you have and survive. Each level will bring new enemies who are trying to kill you, so you’ll have to be wise about each move you make.

Sayonara Wild Hearts

Sayonara Wild Hearts is already a great game on other systems, so it’s very likely it’ll transfer to the mobile platform quite well. Its controls and visuals aren’t complicated, meaning that this could be one of those rare games that works relatively well on both mobile and console.

Where Cards Fall

Where Cards Fall is one game on our Apple Arcade games list that has the most potential. Combining puzzles and a focus on narrative, the main goal behind this game will be to escort your character through a level while using cards to build a path. Once you’ve reached the end of a level, a cutscene will cue, sharing a flashback from the characters youth. Puzzle games on mobile are a dime a dozen, but this one looks to stand above the rest.

As you can probably tell, there are tons of great games coming to Apple Arcade. All the games that you see detailed below will be available at launch, however, there will be many more games coming to the service over the coming months. In fact, Apple is promising over 100 games for Apple Arcade subscribers, so we are just brushing the surface.
