Everyone loves a good Star Wars game, and Jedi: Fallen Order from Respawn could very well scratch that singleplayer Star Wars itch we’ve been harboring for years. In an ideal world, games such as these would be available on all platforms. This isn’t an ideal world, however. As of writing, there are no plans for a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Switch release date.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like we’ll be playing Respawn’s foray into Star Wars lore on the Switch any time soon. This was confirmed back in April 2019, shortly after the game was revealed for the first time. Jay Ingram (who works for EA Access, Origin Insider, and Anthem creators and social media channels, formerly EA Star Wars), took to Twitter to answer questions about Jedi: Fallen Order.
As amazing as the Switch is, no such plans.

When asked whether or not there are any plans to bring the game to the Switch, Jay simply replied: “as amazing as the Switch is, no such plans.” We won’t be seeing Jedi: Fallen Order on Nintendo Switch any time soon, if at all.
Despite the fact that someone working for EA explained that there weren’t any plans for a Jedi: Fallen Order Switch port back in April, it doesn’t necessarily mean that we’ll never see it released on Nintendo’s hybrid console. Plans can change. There is a possibility that the game might release on Switch one day. Given the level of detail in the game’s graphics, however, it does seem unlikely, to say the least. Our advice? Don’t get your hopes up. EA more than likely will never port Jedi: Fallen Order to the Switch.
