The game allows you to switch camera styles between Static (fixed, full table), Flying (follows the ball), and close-up (mixture of the two). Experiment with all three options to find the one that works best for you and your iOS device.
There are no bonuses for trick launches from the plunger, so don't worry too much about that. Just pull back and let fly to begin the game.
If you drop the ball into the "Guitar" kickout hole, it will launch the ball up to a mini-table on the guitar itself. This can be kind of hard to follow if playing on Static camera mode on an iPhone, but you control the flippers on the guitar the same way you control the flippers on the table.
