Smash Ultimate 6.0 Update Patch Notes

Are you looking for the Smash Ultimate 6.0 patch notes? The latest update to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is adding Terry Bogard (although his longtime friend Mai Shiranui won’t be joining him, it seems) and several other neat new things for players to enjoy. Of course, this patch is sure to include balance changes to many of the game’s fighters. Let’s break it down!

Smash Ultimate 6.0 patch notes

The highlight of the Smash Ultimate 6.0 patch notes is undoubtedly the addition of Terry Bogard, one of the main protagonists from the Fatal Fury franchise of brawler games and a common contender in The King of Fighters series of fighting games. Mr. Bogard is a fan favorite character from SNK’s portfolio, and he’ll be joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as the newest DLC fighter of the cast!

Of course, the addition of a new character also means that Kirby gets another new appearance added to his roster in the Smash Ultimate 6.0 patch notes! Once Kirby absorbs Terry Bogard’s powers, he gains his iconic red Fatal Fury hat along with a tiny blonde ponytail and a few fiery moves.

Unfortunately, it seems that Mai Shiranui will not be making an appearance in the Smash Ultimate 6.0 patch notes. It seems that this sultry ninja is just too risqué to make an appearance in a mainline Nintendo title like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate — something that will surely be disappointing to longtime SNK fans.

As always, bear in mind that the Smash Ultimate 6.0 patch notes will also be bringing fighter adjustments with them; this means that any previous replay data will no longer be valid once the patch goes live as reported by this tweet from @NintendoVS. You should convert your replays to video before you update your game; here’s how to do it!

  1. Open the Vault.
  2. Go to Replays.
  3. Select “Replay Data”.
  4. Select “Convert to Video” for any Replays that you want to save.
  5. Update your game to 6.0.

And that’s it for our highlights! Read on for the full Smash Ultimate 6.0 patch notes.
