Following on from last month’s Stronger United Brilliant Event, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is set to receive a fittingly festive update. Offering some respite from the trials and tribulations of November’s content update, the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Christmas Calamity Brilliant Event celebrates the holiday season by reviving some iconic yuletide memories form around the Wizarding World.
Christmas Calamity Brilliant Event Part 1 | Dates and content
Things kick off today, December 3, as players are invited to relive the Hogwarts Yule Ball. You’ll be able to experience memories from loved-up couples like Hermione Granger and Viktor Krum, as well as Rubeus Hagrid and Madame Maxime. Part 1 will run for a week, ultimately concluding on December 10.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite December Community Day
If you can’t get enough of Hagrid, you’re in for a real treat this month. After glimpsing his love life, players will be able to give the gentle giant a hand with looking after his range of weird and wonderful creatures. Players will be able to travel to Hagrid’s Hut via Portkey and unlock some of the rarest available magical creatures by “helping return Foundables from the Hagrid’s Hut Registry Page.”
The December Community Day takes place on December 14.
Christmas Calamity Brilliant Event Part 2 | Dates and content
More Yule Ball memories abound in the second part of the Christmas Calamity Brilliant Event. Starting December 17th and running through to the 24th, players are invited to experience the wonderful winter memories of Ron Weasley and friends, including couples Parvati Patil and Harry Potter, as well as Fred Weasley and Angelina Johnson.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite 12 Tasks of Christmas
Finally, everybody’s invited to “join in the holiday revelry” by completing the 12 Tasks of Christmas and also exchanging in-game gifts with friends. No specific dates or further details have been shared yet, though the team encourages players to keep an eye on the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Twitter account for updates.
