Escape from Tarkov PC specifications | Minimum and Recommended

It’s 2020 now, and that means we’re creeping ever closer to the eventual formal release of Escape from Tarkov. Years have passed since the game was first revealed, which means it’s probably time to go over the game’s recommended PC specifications. What are the Escape from Tarkov minimum specifications, and what sort of machine do you need to run the game at recommended settings? That’s what we’re here to discuss.

As usual, players who want to get the most out of Escape from Tarkov will want to make sure their PC matches or exceeds the game’s recommended system requirements. Here are the Escape from Tarkov recommended PC specs as provided on the game’s official website.

  • CPU: Quad-core; Intel i5/i7 @ 3.2GHz or AMD FX/Athlon @ 3.6GHz
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • GPU: DX11-compatible with at least 2 GB memory
  • OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit)

Again, the Escape from Tarkov minimum specs and recommended system requirements could be changed or modified as the game continues to be developed. Sadly, we don’t yet have a proper release date; even though it first released as a closed alpha in 2016, it’s apparently still quite some time away from its formal release. Thankfully, both the minimum and recommended specifications aren’t too lofty, meaning players with slightly older PC hardware shouldn’t have much trouble running Escape from Tarkov. This also spells good news for potential console ports, assuming any are on the horizon.
