This event won’t be around for long, as an official Pokemon Go blog post has confirmed that Valentine’s Day Celebration 2020 festivities will end Monday, February 17, 2020, at 10:00 pm local time. That’s a four-day runtime (February 14 to February 17), with a total of 86 available hours in which players can make the most of the event.

Throughout the event, pink Pokemon will appear more frequently across the game; that’s in wild encounters, in raids, as Field Research encounters, and when hatching Pokemon from Eggs. Excitingly, this presents players with a great opportunity to catch some all-new pink Pokemon that are being added to the game as part of the 2020 Valentine’s Day Pokemon Go Celebration.

  • Audino
  • Alomomola

Audino, the “Hearing” Pokemon, and Alomomola, the “Caring” Pokemon, are both set to make their in-game Pokemon Go debut. It’s been noted that they’re both rare, however, and, as a result, only those that are “very lucky” will encounter them. With that being said, as pink Pokemon, they’re more likely to spawn during the Valentine’s Day event than at any other point in time so you may want to grind for them.

If you’re extra lucky, it’s even noted that you could hatch a Shiny Happiny from an Egg or encounter a Shiny Chansey in the wild during the upcoming event.

Regardless of luck, while Valentine’s Day Celebration 2020 is live from February 14 to February 17, standard Lure Modules will last for an impressive six hours once activated and players will also receive a double (2x) Catch Candy bonus.

Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day Celebration 2020 Raid Day | Lickitung with Body Slam move

Continuing the Valentine’s Pokemon Go festivities is a dedicated Raid Day, which is running for a very brief period of time on Saturday, February 15. Just after the romantic day itself, as we all begin to ring in the weekend, the Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day Celebration 2020 Raid Day will run for just three hours in the afternoon.

Saturday, February 15, 2020, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time is your window of opportunity to catch the classic pink Pokemon Lickitung. Lickitung will be featured in four-star raids and know the Body Slam move, setting it apart from most others and potentially making it a valuable addition to your battle party. There’s even a small chance that you could encounter a Shiny Lickitung.

In order to help you prepare, it’s possible to receive up to five additional Raid Passes during the Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day Celebration 2020 event. In order to get them at no extra cost, simply spin the Photo Discs at Gyms. It should be noted, though, that you can only carry one of these Raid Passes at a time and they will no longer be available when the event concludes.
