The Mortal Kombat 11 Krypt Event on February 20 has some special goodies: gear for Frost and Cetrion. Both are from a season of Kombat League, meaning you can’t earn them through normal means. These pieces are locked inside of an orb inside of the Krypt starting at 7 AM PT on February 20 all the way to 7 AM PT on February 21. But where can you find the hidden orb for the MK11 Krypt Event?

The hint within the game’s notification bar reads: “Search for the tortured and burnt.” There are a lot of places where that could describe, given how hellish the Krypt is. Shang Tsung is a twisted sorcerer.
The Frost Brutality and Cetrion crown are in the Chamber of Suffering. Go to Goro’s Dining Hall and go up the stairs and take the door on the right. It’s on the bottom right of the map, as you can see in the above picture.

Keep in mind that you need to have an internet connection to be able to redeem these prizes. The Krypt surprisingly does not work offline. This means that you’ll have to be extra vigilant if you have the Switch version. This will also be live on every platform — PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, and yes, even Stadia — at the same time and will not require a patch or update. These just show up, which is probably why it needs to be connected to the internet.
NetherRealm holds these Krypt events about every week or so and each contains Kombat League gear you may have missed. If you have both pieces, it should contain some sort of reward for you like coins or Time Krystals. Cetrion and Frost have had multiple Kombat League rewards so it is unclear which ones they will be.
