Because guards move when you do, you can sometimes pace back and forth to move a guard into a more useful position. One you position them remove as many guards as you can to make game easier.
Guards look in specific directions, as indicated by an arrow at the bottom of their figurines.
Don't let a guard corner you and if you find yourself in guards targeting range, you're as good as caught.
If a spinning guard keeps giving you away, you'll need to move an uneven number of spaces to sneak up behind it.
