War. War never changes. Except it does. As of writing, there is no Call of Duty: Warzone Trios playlist, with it being replaced with Quads for the time being. When is Trios coming back to Call of Duty: Warzone? In this guide, we’ll let you in on when you could expect the Trios playlist to come back into the free-to-play CoD battle royale. Read on to find out when we think we could be seeing Trios back in Modern Warfare: Warzone.
When is Trios coming back to Call of Duty: Warzone?
Unfortunately, we cannot tell you when Trios will be back in Call of Duty: Warzone. Without a word from the developer, we simply don’t know when the popular Warzone Trios playlist will be back. All we know for now is that Trios is gone and it has been replaced with Quads. As Modern Warfare features a weekly playlist rotation, however, we could see Trios back as early as a week from now. If Activision is aware of how much Trios is missed, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the playlist back in action sooner, rather than later.

The wait for Call of Duty: Warzone Trios to come back, however, could be much longer than a week. Given how it was replaced with Quads for Modern Warfare Season 3, we might have to wait until Season 4 for it to return, at the earliest. For now, though, we’d argue that Trios should, hopefully, return before the end of Modern Warfare Season 3. Unfortunately, we can’t give an exact date.
In an ideal scenario, we’d have Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads available all at once. For whatever reason, though, this isn’t the case. It’s up to Activision and Infinity Ward to add Trios back into the Warzone. Hopefully, we’ll be playing in groups of three again soon enough.
