Is there a Trials of Mana Xbox One version?

Trials of Mana Xbox One release date

Formerly known as Seiken Densetsu 3, fans of the 2D Super Nintendo Entertainment System classic have spent years clamoring for a remake. Any hopefuls that were seeking to play Trials of Mana on Xbox One best brace themselves for some unfortunate news, however; at the time of writing, Square Enix hasn’t shared any plans surrounding a Trials of Mana Xbox port. As you’d expect, this means that there isn’t a Trials of Mana Xbox One release date at present.

This doesn’t necessarily rule out the possibility of a Trials of Mana Xbox One port coming to market in the future, although, looking back in Xbox history, the chances of Square’s JRPG making the transition seem relatively slim. There are lots of high-profile Japanese games that simply never receive a release on Microsoft’s Xbox One console, likely due to its small market share in the region.

With many JRPGs achieving comparatively low sales in the West to those enjoyed in the East, pouring resources into a Trials of Mana Xbox release catered to the former may have been considered a big risk by Square Enix. That’s speculation, however, and only time will tell for sure if we eventually get a Trials of Mana Xbox One release date.
