RED DEAD REDEMPTION 1 1.19 update patch notes

Red Dead Redemption 2 1.19 Update Patch Notes (PC)

The Red Dead Redemption 2 1.19 update patch notes have landed, with the RDR2 PC update being pushed live by Rockstar. The new update only affects the PC version of the console, so console players across PS4 and Xbox One won’t receive the patch.

The RDR2 1.19 update focuses on improvements and bug fixes, so don’t expect anything too substantial. Instead, Rockstar has pushed through a number of performance improvements, the most substantial of which is the game being able to render high-quality textures without it impacting its frame rate too much.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 PC port has been criticized for frame rate issues, with users with capable PCs reporting stuttering when trying to play it using high graphics settings. This latest 1.19 update seeks to rectify this, adding a number of improvements to improve its visual quality and performance.
