Power Armor in Fallout 76 is designed to provide protection, both in offense or for defense. And few get anywhere close to the protection provided by the Strangler Heart Power Armor. Sometimes cited as the most powerful armor in the game, a set of Strangler Heart armor provides vast radiation resistance as well as corrosive poison damage. Want to craft one for yourself? Here’s how to get the Strangler Heart Power Armor in Fallout 76.
Fallout 76 | How to get the Strangler Heart Power Armor
The Strangler Heart Power Armor in Fallout 76 can be crafted using plans earned from Vault 94 raids. Alternatively, you can get Strangler Heart plans by purchasing them from Regs in Vault 79 in exchange for gold buillion.

Be warned: Getting the Strangler Heart won’t be easy. As an Ultracite Power Armor, it has some of the steepest crafting requirements in the game. In addition to five crafting plans — arms, torso, helmet, and legs — you’ll also need a hefty stock of Aluminum, Silver, Glass, Rubber, Vault 94 Steel, and Legendary Modules.
However, for many players, the work is worth it. When the full set of Strangler Heart Power Armor is equipped, it offers the legendary Strangler Heart bonus, which adds acid damage to all attacks, even ranged attacks. This bonus also deals acid damage to nearby enemies, which is often considered overpowered when used in PvP situations.
It’s no slouch when it comes to defense, either. A full set of Strangler Heart Power Armor offers 453 physical damage resistance, 393 energy damage resistance, and a whopping 500 radiation damage resistance. Combined with its offensive capabilities, this armor is ideal for just about any wasteland activities.
It’ll take a lot of work to get the Strangler Heart Power Armor in Fallout 76. But if you’re able to put in the time and the effort, you’ll earn one of the most capable — and the most coveted — armor sets around.
