Nintendo Switch 10.0.4 update highlights
This is a small firmware update that fixes a couple of credit card issues that were prevalent on the Switch in a number of countries. There’s nothing being added and nothing exciting here, unfortunately. Nevertheless, it’s still an important fix for those suffering from the annoying credit card issues.

Credit Card Fixes
Once you install the new Switch firmware update, credit cards should work as intended on the console. In a number of different countries and regions before the update, you could not add new funds using a new credit card. You couldn’t, either, store credit card information on the eShop. Both of these issues, of course, were a pain and more than annoying. Thankfully, though, both issues should have been fixed in all regions they were appearing in.
You should now find that you can save new credit card information on the eShop on your Switch, no matter where you live. Thanks to the update, too, you should be able to add funds through your new credit card online via the eShop. Now you can take advantage of all the sales on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
While this is a useful update for those suffering from the credit card issues, we’re still left waiting for a more customizable Switch OS. Where are the themes, unique backgrounds, and folders Nintendo?
