League of Legends: Wild Rift is set to bring Riot Games’ immensely popular MOBA to mobile and consoles for the very first time. With the iOS and Android release beckoning, existing LoL PC players are probably wondering if there’s LoL: Wild Rift cross-progression. Stick around to learn whether any form of League of Legends PC cross-save support features in Wild Rift.
LoL: Wild Rift Cross-Progression | Does League PC progress transfer?
League of Legends on PC and LoL: Wild Rift for mobile and consoles are two separate entities. Riot Games has elected not to implement cross-platform play between the two games, and also not to support cross-progression. A lack of LoL PC cross-save functionality will ensure that Wild Rift starts life as something “fair and fun” for everyone. The developers have noted that not going this route could introduce “compromises of competitive integrity.”

Like your progress and saved data, premium purchases won’t be transferrable either. Skins you own in League of Legends PC will not automatically be available in Wild Rift, instead, you’ll need to re-purchase. The same goes for playable champions, which can either be earned in-game or bought again for immediate access.
LoL: Wild Rift Cross-Progression | Is there League of Legends PC cross-save?
- No — progress made in LoL PC can’t be transferred to League of Legends: Wild Rift.
- Neither the mobile or console versions of Wild Rift feature PC cross-save.
Presumably, the same will be true for LoL: Wild Rift players seeking to share progress with the main PC version. With League of Legends and League of Legends: Wild Rift being recognized as different titles, Riot Games’ stance should go both ways.
While likely disappointing for League PC devotees, keeping Wild Rift as its own thing at least safeguards your in-game stats. Experimenting with the new map and controls featured in LoL: Wild Rift could ultimately have proven detrimental.
