A new update to Predator: Hunting Grounds has been released, and with it comes a deadly new Predator variant. The latest is update 1.13, and it comes with two new pieces of content: The Samurai Predator and the Predator Katana. The most obvious change in Predator: Hunting Grounds update 1.13 is the addition of the Samurai Predator. This fearsome new Predator is a paid DLC variant that comes equipped with the Predator Katana, which seems like overkill for such a naturally talented hunter. But hey, we’re not complaining, especially since the game’s previous patch version 1.11 didn’t introduce any new content.

New digs aside, update 1.13 also includes a lot of different balance adjustments. There are a lot of new changes: Scouts can now carry more weight, the Shuffler perk allows players to crawl more quickly, and the Sixth Sense perk’s cost has increased. Fireteam adjustments also affect weapons: The 7EN and SAWZ-50 now hold less ammo, while the D34-D sees less hip-fire spread but greater grenade airtime. In case you missed it, these weapons received new skins from update version 1.10.

Similarly, the Predator side of the game also gets several balance adjustments: The Alpha Sickle does less damage, while the War Club now has a disorienting status effect and an unblockable final attack.

  • Mission select count down timer will now only start once all players are loaded into the lobby
  • Added a pointer to the weapon wheel to make navigating the weapon wheel easier
  • Added a limit to player inputs during minigames (such as breaking free from the Net Gun ensnare effect)

    • Fixed an issue where repeatedly jumping in rapid succession would cause some of the jumps to be shortened
    • Fixed an issue where opening weapon lockers would cause some players in the match to experience a momentary dip in performance
    • Fixed an issue where the Fireteam had a slight delay before they could start crawling after being downed
    • Increased camera effects and feedback when taking large amounts of damage
