Ghost of Tsushima is getting great reviews from most critics, including Game Revolution. With the game being so good, it’s only natural that people are looking to get as much out of the experience as possible. If you’re looking to do just that by picking up the Ghost of Tsushima DLC, then we’ve got you covered. Here’s all the downloadable content available at launch and planned for future release.
Ghost of Tsushima DLC | Launch downloadable content list
At launch, several Ghost of Tsushima DLC items are available when purchasing premium versions of the game. By opting for the Digital Deluxe Edition or Collector’s Edition, players can gain access to the following downloadable content:
All Ghost of Tsushima downloadable content list
- Hero of Tsushima Skin Set
- Golden Mask
- Body Armor
- Sword Kit
- Horse
- Saddle
- In-game items
- 1 Technique Point
- Charm of Hachiman’s Favor
- Director’s commentary
- Listen to the game’s creative team discuss the feudal Japan setting and inspirations with a Japanese historian.
That’s it for in-game items, though players also get a Samurai PS4 Dynamic Theme with their purchase. Additionally, those who pre-ordered gain access to a mini digital soundtrack, Jin Avatar, and Jin PS4 Dynamic Theme.
Ghost of Tsushima DLC | Post-launch downloadable content plans
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, no Ghost of Tsushima post-launch DLC plans have been announced by developer Sucker Punch. The absence of a content roadmap and Season Pass may indicate that we aren’t scheduled to get more DLC, as is the case with recent PS4 exclusive The Last of Us 2.
Unlike Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch hasn’t outright said that there won’t be any future content just yet. That means there’s still hope, but in the day and age that most DLC roadmaps are announced ahead of launch we’re not holding our breath.
At least Ghost of Tsushima doesn’t have microtransactions, though. You get a complete game in one transaction, and that’s something many gamers have been pining for.
