Are there Fall Guys bots? If playing against other people online makes you despair for humanity, then you’re probably eager to learn whether there are Fall Guys A.I. opponents. Stick around as we cover if there’s a Fall Guys offline mode for PC and PS4.
Fall Guys Bots | Is there an offline mode versus A.I.?
No, there isn’t currently any way to face Fall Guys bots. You have to be online to play Fall Guys, as there’s no local offline mode with A.I. to compete against.
It’s unfortunate, but there’s always the chance that Mediatonic and Devolver Digital could add this functionality later via a game update. Currently, the crazy battle royale gameshow is immensely popular and doesn’t struggle to populate online matches. Fall Guys has been the most-viewed game on Twitch, its servers have been under immense stress, and it’s already spawning copycats. Once the hype dies down and spaces in matches aren’t occupied by real players, perhaps we’ll see bots added to fill the gaps.
A glitch where Fall Guys loses player usernames (see above) has caused some speculation surrounding A.I. bots. Although they do look like bots, with each player name being “Fall Guy” followed by a random string of four letters, unfortunately, they are not.
If you can manage it, the best way to play Fall Guys is with friends and not bots anyway. The online party limit is four players (you and up to three friends), while local co-op isn’t currently a feature.
There’s already a roadmap of future Fall Guys content, which is a good indication that the game will be well-supported. Here’s hoping that means we’ll see features like bots and local cooperative play introduced at some point in time.
