Does Mini Royale count as Warzone wins? Call of Duty

Call of Duty | Does Mini Royale Count as Warzone Wins?

Season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone introduced players to a new game mode called Mini Royale. As the name implies, this mode takes the game’s battle royale formula and condenses it down to smaller, more intense matches. However, since Warzone itself is a battle royale game, many players are left with a burning question: Do Mini Royale wins count as Warzone wins? Here’s what you need to know.

Do Mini Royale wins count as Warzone wins?

Do Mini Royale wins count as Warzone wins?

No, victories in Mini Royale do not count as Warzone wins. Mini Royale is a modified version of Call of Duty‘s battle royale formula, with different rules than those in normal Warzone matches. That’s why they don’t show up in your log of Warzone wins.

In fact, the same is true for other royale-based spin-off modes such as Juggernaut, Realism, or Stimulus Royale. Since they’re not part of the standard formula, they don’t count as standard wins. Fortunately, this means playing in these modes won’t mess with your kill-death ratio or other gameplay statistics.

Depending on how good you are at Warzone, this news might be a bit of a blessing. Mini Royale is chaotic, dumping players effectively straight into the action. There’s a smaller number of combatants, but there’s also a much smaller battlefield. The up side is that matches go by a lot quicker; the down side is that you don’t have nearly as much time to develop a strategy before bullets start flying.

For what it’s worth, Warzone wins only count for traditional solos, duos, trios, and quads. Plunder is one of the game’s main modes, but wins for Plunder are placed under a separate log. Mini Royale wins just don’t count. If you want to stack up wins in Call of Duty: Warzone, you’ll need to play with the game’s standard modes.
