Knowing how to find the comic book clue locations in the Outer Worlds Peril on Gorgon DLC will help you get one of the best melee weapons in the game. This is all part of the Dialogue Between Dead Men side quest, which tasks you with find clues that are just Archibald Excelsior comics at different research sites around Gorgon. There is also a quiz at the end of the quest and you can find those answers here.
The Outer Worlds Peril on Gorgon DLC | Maurice’s Research Site comic book clue | Issue #1
This first clue (or issue of Archibald Excelsior comic) is very easy to miss. You will want to go by one of the entrances to the Office of Creative Incubations as you can see in the above map.
If you are standing there, you will see this path full of mines. Go down it. The mines are weirdly pretty ignorant to your presence if you don’t walk right on them.
You will eventually make your way near some telescope. Go to the right of it.
The issue will be just to the right of the telescope on some box-like object.

The second issue located in Virgil’s Research Site in the Abandoned Mines in the northeastern part of the map.
Go into the opening here, near the gear. The once inside, go straight, follow the left path, and then turn left once again so you’re going back toward the entrance but on the other side of the rock from the entrance.
If done correctly, you will find the room in the above picture. Go inside.
Once inside that room, you will see issue #2 on a table near a diary. Pick it up and you’re good to go.
The Outer Worlds Peril on Gorgon DLC | Birdie’s Research Site comic book clue | Issue #3
You might find Birdie’s comic right after exiting the Human Inquiry and Auditing building as part of the main story campaign. But you don’t have to as Birdie’s comic is at the northwest part of the map just outside of one of the HIA exits.
You’ll see this room with the green glass and a you will get a notification and some experience showing you that you found Birdie’s Research Site. Go inside that room.
Once inside that room, you’ll see issue #3 on the table in the back.
The Outer Worlds Peril on Gorgon DLC | Eustace’s Research Site comic book clue | Issue #4
Eustace’s clue is in the southwest part of the map and can easily be retrieved after exiting the CHEM Lab as a part of the main mission.
Once you exit the lab, find this ramp and go up it that the red arrow is pointing to and go up it.
Here’s a closer view of that ramp.
Once you go up it, you will see a red and green pipe to your left. Go to those pipes and turn right.
You’ll see an encampment with The Exhilarating Adventures of Archibald Excelsior Issue #4 on rectangular structure. Pick it up to complete your collection.
Once you’ve done that, you will have to go back to the secret hideout where you got the mission and answer some quiz questions. You can find the answers here.
