VERSION 2.86

  • Stability fixes to improve Fortnite.

As is usually the case, the PS4 Update History patch notes don’t really tell the full story. Players will need to take to Twitter in order to see what the new 2.86 update fixes.

The official @FortniteStatus account tweeted that the new patch “addresses an ‘ESP’ error message that some players may have been getting on PlayStation 4” as well as improving “stability” on Xbox One.

Heading over to the Fortnite Community Trello lets you see the biggest issues, as well as what is targeted for fixing with the next update.

The top issues for Battle Royale include not being able to get to Presets in Party Royale Phone Booth when previewing an Outfit, Back Bling, or Wrap.

Another problem is that Heroes Park and Ghost House don’t count as Discovered Locations after players have visited them.

Some other issues that have popped up include placing map markers canceling movement and Groot Awakening Island missing.

In more Fortnite news, the iPhone Season 4 update release date is still delayed. Read our guide for the need-to-know.

What’s more, there are a number of rumors floating around about a potential Spider-Man skin. Here’s what we know so far.

Here’s hoping we get a Fortnite 2.87 update soon, which will hopefully implement more content for players to experience. With a superhero theme, it sure would be great to see even more heroes and villains enter the fight!
