In Among Us, a blank name can greatly increase a player’s chances of success. By having no name in the game, the player is more difficult to spot, meaning that stealth kills are easier to carry out unnoticed when you’re the Impostor. So how do you make your name invisible in Among Us? Here’s how to use ‘unicode 3164’ in order to remove your name.
How to make your name invisible using unicode 3164
Players can get a blank name in Among Us by entering in the unicode character U+3164, which allows them to play with an invisible name. This code should be entered into the name field in local or online play.
Here’s how to enter the code to get a blank name in Among Us:
- Copy the following blank space between the quotation marks: “ㅤ”
- Paste the blank space into the name field
- Press accept
Now when you play Among Us your name should be invisible via the Compart code, even when entering public lobbies with other places.
Can you get an invisible name in Among Us PC?
It is only possible to obtain a blank name in Among Us mobile for iOS and Android. It is not currently possible to play with no name in the PC version of the game, as copying and pasting characters isn’t possible in its name field.
However, as Among Us supports crossplay across PC and mobile, players can still use an invisible name against PC players while playing on mobile. This means that they can still gain a tactical advantage even if they aren’t playing on PC, given that the game allows players to join lobbies with both PC and mobile players.
Among Us continues to be a success for indie developer InnerSloth, with its creator recently revealing that the planned Among Us 2 had been canceled in favor of continuing to work on the original game due to its overwhelming popularity. This will see the studio improving the current version of the game rather than moving to a sequel.
