Currently, no Second Extinction Xbox Series X release date has been announced. Of course, that also means there’s no release window for Second Extinction on Xbox Series S. According to the developers, however, players can expect to hear more in 2021.
Second Extinction was one of the first games to be revealed for Xbox Series X a few months back at the (somewhat underwhelming) third-party software showcase. Although it’s been in development for a while now, Second Extinction won’t be an Xbox Series X launch game. Instead, gamers can expect to hear more about (and potentially play) Second Extinction on Xbox next year.
When the Second Extinction Xbox Series X launch day does eventually roll around, the game will support Smart Delivery. That means owners of Second Extinction on Xbox One can upgrade to Xbox Series X or Series S version for free.
