Dedicated series followers already know that the Crown Tundra expansion for Pokemon Sword and Shield introduces loads of new content. There are characters to meet, a new region to explore, and several new and rare Pokemon to capture and train. Still, sometimes it’s nice knowing exactly what’s been added. Keep reading to find a list of all Legendary Pokemon in Crown Tundra, including previously unseen creatures as well as a few familiar faces.
All Legendary Pokemon in The Crown Tundra Expansion
There are over 40 new Legendary Pokemon featured in the Crown Tundra expansion. A few of them are entirely new, while several others return from previous Pokemon games. Of course, you won’t be able to catch any of these critters if you don’t own the game’s Expansion Pass.
For those who have purchased the pass, the Crown Tundra expansion introduces three entirely new Legendary creatures to Pokemon Sword and Shield:
- Calyrex
- Regidrago
- Regieleki
These creatures aside, the expansion introduces over 30 Legendary Pokemon that have never before been seen in Sword and Shield. Here’s the full list:

- Cresselia
- Dialga
- Entei
- Giratina
- Groudon
- Heatran
- Ho-Oh
- Kyogre
- Landorus
- Latias
- Latios
- Lugia
- Lunala
- Mesprit
- Mewtwo
- Moltres
- Palkia
- Raikou
- Rayquaza
- Reshiram
- Solgaleo
- Suicune
- Tapu Bulu
- Tapu Fini
- Tapu Koko
- Tapu Lele
- Thundurus
- Tornadus
- Uxie
- Xerneas
- Yveltal
- Zapdos
- Zekrom
- Zygarde
You may see a couple of familiar names on that list: Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno. While these aren’t entirely new Pokemon, they are new Galarian form variants.
Naturally, tracking all of these Legendaries down is going to be an immense amount of work.
