Thanks to its character recruiting mechanic the gameplay is diverse, while the game doesn’t take itself too seriously overall. With that sort of broad appeal, the new Watch Dogs game could be a major hit amongst subscribers. Is Watch Dogs: Legion coming to Xbox Game Pass for console?
The original Watch Dogs was an early Xbox One title, which makes Legion‘s arrival on Xbox Series X and Series S at launch a “full-circle” moment. Of course, the game is also available on Xbox One, though adding Watch Dogs: Legion to Game Pass across both generations could be a fantastic way to celebrate. Watch Dogs: Legion is not coming to Xbox Game Pass for consoles. Unfortunately, Game Pass subscribers won’t be able to download and play the latest Watch Dogs installment on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, or Series S.
Although it’s possible that Watch Dogs: Legion could be added to Xbox Game Pass in the future, no announcements have been made to suggest that it’ll be available at launch. Rainbow Six: Siege — also developed and published by Ubisoft — just hit Game Pass almost five years after it first released. If that’s any indication of things to come, subscribers could be waiting a long time for a potential Watch Dogs: Legion Xbox Game Pass launch on consoles.
Is Watch Dogs: Legion coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC?
As with its console equivalent, Watch Dogs: Legion is not coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC at launch. Since Ubisoft’s own subscription service (Uplay+) exists on PC, with Legion being available to subscribers from the start, it might be unlikely that the new Watch Dogs title will hit Game Pass for PC in the near future.
There’s no Game Pass support, but Watch Dogs: Legion does feature Smart Delivery on Xbox. The Xbox One version upgrades to next-gen for free, plus save data is transferable.
Although Legions‘ multiplayer component won’t be available until December, the single-player campaign is still worth experiencing on its own.
